Korea D-7 - Yeouido Hangang Park, Line Store in Itaewon, & Seoul Central Mosque

Today we had to leave this beautiful city yet extreme weather, Busan. Our KTX will leave at 8.30. We already exchanged the ticket on our arrival at Busan Station.

We woke up early because we didn't want to miss our KTX. After we had breakfast, we left the hotel at 7.30 AM. The weather was still gloomy and it was rain.

We planned to go to Yeouido Hangang Park, Line Store in Itaewon, & Seoul Central Mosque.

We arrived at Seoul Station at 11 AM then we had to go to Myeongdong Station. (to our last accommodation). We stayed at Well Plus Guest House for 3 2 days. We really want to experience to live at guesthouse, that's why we choose this place.

Yeouido Hangang Park

I really wanted to be here because I've seen this place many times through k-drama, MV, variety shows. Another reason why I wanted to be here, because I want to take pictures at I SEOUL U sign. This place is a favorite place to have picnic, riding bike, exercising, walking by Han River, etc.

Bungeoppang

To go here you must go to Yeouinaru Station (Line 5, Exit 2 or 3). We met many people once we exit the station. There's so many people sell foods, cotton candy, & flower bandanas. You'll find many people sell Bungeoppang. Bungeoppang is one of korea traditional cake, you'll find red beans inside the cake. The cake was hot, perfect for this cold weather. We saw many people put their tent at Yeouido Hangang Park. You could see many people rent a tent and bike here.

But the weather wasn't really good, the wind was so strong sometimes we had to stop and fix our hijab. We didn't see the I SEOUL U sign near, so we asked people if they know where it was. Some of people didn't know, we even got different answer from different people. Then we walked hope that we'll see the sign until we found cruise ticket booth. *we didn't want to ride the cruise actually XD* Then we asked to them about I SEOUL U sign and they said ... the sign was moved because the weather was bad not long ago *I thought that the sign is in fix placed!!* . So our plan to take pictures in front of I SEOUL U sign was totally failed.

On our way back to station we found huge cherry blossom tree. We asked for help from students near the tree to take picture of us. FYI, there are school across Yeouido Hangang Park. There were many students had break time here. Some students having picnic and many of them take selfie at cherry blossom tree *who can't resist to take pictures to this beautiful trees*

Actually I really want to ride a bike & rent a tent, but I can't because of this bad weather *I think I'll freeze to death*. So we decided to go to our next destination to one of Line store flagship at Itaewon.

Line Flagship Itaewon

There are 3 Line flagship in Korea that time, at Myeongdong, Gangnam, & Itaewon. We decided to go here because this is the only store that sell BT21 merchandise in South Korea. *ME SO EXCITEDD!!*

If you want to go here you can go to Itaewon Station (Line 6 Exit 3). Just go straight and the store is near from the exit gate.

I'M SO HAPPY BECAUSE WE WELCOMED BY BT21 IN FRONT OF THE STORE!!

Once you enter the store you'll find the iconic Brown super big doll.

This store is much bigger, more clean, and not to crowded compare to Line flagship in Myeongdong. There are 3 floor here, 1st floor for Line Friends merchandise, 2nd floor for BT21 merchandise, and 3rd floor for the cafe.

There's so many cute & instagramable spot here. Lucky us that there was not many people that time. Make sure you won't be here on the weekends.

Then we moved to 2nd floor. You know I CAN'T HIDE MY HAPPY FEELING TO SEE ALL THIS BT21 T.T

But the saddest things was that all BT21 were sold out from February 2018 and they don't know when will they sell BT21 merchandise again. I really expect to buy BT21 here, but they were sold out!! Not long after we back to Jakarta (2-4 weeks later), they open new store at Hongdae that sell new BT21 merchandise *SOBBING AT THE CORNER*

You could buy foods or drinks on the 3rd floor. They sell BT21 drinks here but I didn't buy foods or drink because so many people at the cafes. So we decided to go to next destination.

Seoul Central Mosque

We didn't plan to go here before going to South Korea. We decided to go here after my friend, Rima, went here. This place is not far from Line Store in Itaewon. After you exit from Line Store just turn right and follow the direction from Gmaps :) The way to Seoul Central Mosque is going uphill, so it's better not to use heels when you're here.

Seoul Central Mosque is the largest mosque in South Korea. We were so happy to be here because you won't see many Mosque in South Korea. My friend, Indar, sometimes had to find empty place when we were outside such as at the corner of Subway.

Halal Dinner in Itaewon

Itaewon is famous because you'll find many halal restaurant, halal supermarket, and Seoul Central Mosque. And we decided to had dinner here.

We had dinner at Muree Korea Muslim Food Itaewon. The food the food & the service was good. One of the servant from Malaysia and we had small chat with him & also the owner.
