It’s time for us to travel far away from Seoul. For day two, we planned to Nami Island and Petite France. For this trip we agreed to join trip with other tourist. We got the ticket from Klook. The ticket include the bus, Nami Island ticket, & Petite France ticket (not inclusive lunch and zip-wire at Nami Island).

Nami Island

After you booked the ticket, you’ll get e-voucher that include detail information for the meet up points. The meet up point is at Myeongdong Station Exit 4, in front of Prince Hotel. When we arrived, there’s many people from different join trip gather in front of Prince Hotel (not only to Nami Island & Petite France). I’ve met many people from Indonesia here. The guide will bring flag & wearing name tag. The bus left at 8 AM.

Ferry to Nami Island

An hour later we arrived at Nami Island. The ticket include entrance fee and ferry fares. But if you want to try something more challenging, you could try riding zip-wire to Nami Island (additional fee for zip-wire is 38,000 KRW). Zip-wire is like flying-fox, you’ll be arrive at Nami Island less than a minute using this *Super Fast*. The ferry will depart every 10-20 minutes. Actually I’m a bit scared riding the ferry since they don’t limit the people who want to ride this. But Alhamdulilah, we arrived safely. It’s only take us 5-10 minutes to Nami Island using ferry.

Many Tourist on Ferry

Nami Island is listed as one of the top tourist attractions in South Korea. This place is famous after K-Drama, Winter Sonata. There’s many good spot here. I think you need half of day to stroll around the island. But since we should go back at 1.30 PM we only managed to go to 5 places:

1. Metasequoia Lane

2. BungalowRow Riverside Path

3. Ginkgo Tree Lane

4. UNICEF hall

5. Ecofarm Yeonryeonji Pond

Metasequoia Lane

The most favorite spot is Metasequoia Lane. You should go here first if you don’t want to take a picture with the crowds :D We took most of time here to take good pictures XD While we take turns to take pictures, we got many order to take picture from other tourist. One of them is a couple from Philippines. They’re from the same join trip with us. They’re go to South Korea to celebrate their 2nd anniversary. They’re wore couple sweater and they asked to take the picture while they kissed be patient bels.

Tips:

You better go to Nami Island at earliest time so you can have enough time to stroll around Nami Island. I regret not going to Hut Bridge, the view is really pretty.

BungalowRow Riverside Path

After that we strolled a bit at BungalowRow Riverside Path. The view is really good here, but we don’t go to far since we should have lunch before we back to the bus.

Ginko Tree Lane

When we’re searching for the restaurant we stopped for a while at Ginko Tree Lane. I think this spot is more beautiful when in autumn. But we didn’t take a picture here since we have lots picture from Metasequoia Lane XD

UNICEF hall

Ecofarm Yeonryeonji Pond

We decided to have a lunch at Asian Cuisine since we want to try halal Jjangmyeon. We order two dishes, Jjangmyeon & Jjanmpong, since we know that Koreans have a big portion for one dishes. The Jjangmyeon is good but it’s better when it’s hot.

After that we're back to bus to go to next destination, Petite France.

Petite France

The Famous Colorful House at Petite Frence

I takes half and an hour from Nami Island to Petite France. Petite France was featured on many dramas and variety shows. You won't skip this place if you really love korea variety shows :) We arrived at 3 PM and we should go back at 3.45 PM. So many people that time since it was Sunday. So you should patient to take a picture here *LOL*.

There’s many rooms where you could enjoy French food, clothing, and household culture. But since we didn’t have enough time we just walk around Petite France and took a lots picture as always.

After that we’re back to Myeongdong and arrived at 5 PM. We decided to go back to our studio before having dinner.

Myeongdong Street Food

We go back to Myeongdong to enjoy night street food. The price is between 2,000 KRW-10,000 KRW. You could also find halal sign on the merchants.

Egg Muffin is the Best! You should this!

the satay was not so good

Stylenanda Pink Hotel & Pink Pool Cafe

After having a street foods, we strolled around Myeongdong street and found Stylenanda Pink Hotel & Pink Pool Cafe. There are 3 Stylenanda flagship store in South Korea, Hongdae, Garosu Gil, & Myeongdong. Stylenanda Pink Hotel and Pink Pool Hotel is one of the most instagrammable makeup & fashion shops and cafes we have ever visited while we were in South Korea.

Stylenanda Pink Hotel is not a hotel, it’s a make up and fashion store with hotel-themed concept. They also have cafe on the same building called Pink Pool Cafe.
